Amazon: Project Blue

Lot Size: 290 acres
This site is leased from Beale Infrastructure in the Beale: Project Blue building

AWS’s proposed 630 MW campus was withdrawn over water constraints, despite its $3.6B valuation.

Amazon Web Services (AWS) had been planning a major data center campus in Tucson, Arizona, for a project codenamed "Project Blue." The intended development was a sprawling 290-acre site that was reportedly set to host at least three data centers, with some sources suggesting as many as 10 buildings had been planned. These buildings were projected to span a total of 2 million square feet.

Construction on the first phase was originally scheduled to begin in 2026 and finish by 2029, with the first data centers potentially becoming operational in 2027.
