NTT: Berlin 2 Marienpark Campus

NTT's Berlin 2 campus sits on Lankwitzer Straße in Marienpark, a redeveloped industrial estate around the former Mariendorf gasworks in Tempelhof-Schöneberg. It is about 14 km from NTT's Berlin 1 campus in Spandau, and the two sites support active-active configurations.

• Land: e-shelter, NTT's German data center business, bought the site from BMDF Gewerbepark Berlin-Mariendorf in 2019. It is one cadastral parcel of about 5.4 ha, planned for four data center blocks. NTT Global Data Centers BER2 GmbH operates the campus.
• Power: Two 110 kV feeds from Stromnetz Berlin terminate at an on-site 110/20 kV substation with N+1 transformers, rated 90 MVA at full build-out. Each building has dual 2N UPS and N+1 diesel backup. The first phase has 16 containerized diesel generators of 6.5 MW thermal each.
• Heat reuse: With Investa and GASAG, the campus feeds waste heat into the Marienpark heat network. NTT calls it Germany's largest data center heat-reuse project.
• Milestones: Berlin's Governing Mayor Franziska Giffey opened the first phase in 2022. HOCHTIEF and Turner won an NTT contract in 2026 for a three-storey data center in Berlin, which is likely the next phase here.
