Project Peanut is Google’s first active, multi-phase data center campus development in eastern Chesterfield County, located on a 300-plus acre site adjacent to the Meadowville Technology Park.
Serving as a foundational cornerstone of Google's $9 billion statewide digital infrastructure expansion, the master plan outlines a three-building campus layout totaling approximately 856,000 square feet, with each high-density cloud and AI-ready facility spanning about 285,000 square feet. Engineered by Bohler and architecturally designed by AECOM, the multi-phase site layout incorporates massive power scaling, including seven electrical substations and five equipment yards to sustain heavy processing loads.
