Csquare's SFO2 campus sits on Old Ironsides Drive in north Santa Clara, next to Levi's Stadium and about 15 minutes from San Jose International Airport. It covers two adjoining parcels (APNs 104-04-076 and 104-04-077, about 13 acres) with two buildings that Csquare runs as one carrier-neutral colocation site.

Ownership history

  • 2000-2001: Exodus Communications converted both buildings into data centers and financed them through a real-property affiliate.

  • 2021: Menlo Equities bought both buildings from a Digital Realty managed joint venture in September 2021, with Cyxtera as tenant.
  • 2025: Centersquare (Brookfield) bought both buildings from Menlo Equities for US$97 million in November 2025. The operator now trades as Csquare and owns the campus outright.

Infrastructure

  • Utility: Silicon Valley Power, the City of Santa Clara's municipal utility.
  • Standby power: diesel generators. Csquare lists 22.5 MW of generator capacity.
  • Cooling: chilled water.
  • Certifications: ENERGY STAR, SOC 1 and SOC 2 Type II, PCI-DSS, NIST 800-53 PE High and ISO 27001.
