CalEthos (renamed TerraVolt Holdings in 2026) proposed a data center campus in Imperial County's Lithium Valley, near Calipatria, California.

  • Site: CalEthos took an option on a 315-acre parcel at West Sinclair Road and Highway 111 in July 2024, at a $5 million purchase price.
  • Plan: Phase 1 covered 100 acres with up to 1 million sq ft, growing to 3 to 4 million sq ft over time.
  • Power: Grid-delivered geothermal and solar power through Imperial Irrigation District.
  • Partners: HDR (design), ZGlobal (energy) and American Dark Fiber (fiber).
  • Status: CalEthos let the option expire unexercised in July 2025, citing Lithium Valley Specific Plan delays, and shifted to states that allow on-site gas generation.

TerraVolt Holdings, Inc. develops land and power for data centers. It assembles undeveloped land with access to energy and fiber, then plans to deliver construction-ready building sites with onsite behind-the-meter power to hyperscale, neocloud and colocation companies. TerraVolt calls this model Physical Infrastructure-as-a-Service.

  • Current project: A master-planned, onsite-powered data center campus in Southeast Idaho on the Northwest Natural Gas Pipeline. In May 2026 TerraVolt signed a firm supply agreement for 55,000 MMBtu per day of natural gas for the campus power plant.
  • Former Lithium Valley project: As CalEthos, the company planned a geothermal- and solar-powered campus near Calipatria, California. It let the land option lapse in July 2025 and dropped the project.
  • Corporate: CalEthos, Inc. renamed itself TerraVolt Holdings, Inc. in July 2026. The company trades on the OTCQB as GEDC and is based in Tustin, California. Joel D. Stone is CEO.
