Vantage Data centers Launches Second Campus in London

Vantage Data Centers has launched its second data center campus in London, the UK, spanning 194,000 sq ft (18,000 sqm) of data center space. The site offers 20MW of IT capacity and is the result of £250 million ($340.1m) in investment from the company.

“Our unrivaled ability to scale quickly, as demonstrated by the launch of our second campus in London, is helping our global hyperscale customers seize the considerable opportunities presented by cloud computing and AI,” said David Howson, president EMEA, Vantage Data Centers.

“This campus was part of our UK expansion plans, which the Prime Minister referenced at the launch of the UK Government’s AI Opportunities Action Plan earlier this year. As part of the launch of this campus, we are honored to be involved in a vibrant and engaging community art project that celebrates the region’s important history in the growth and stability of the UK.”

The data center also features a permanent public art installation. Spanning a six-story facade, the installation dubbed "11 Million Dots" pays homage to Park Royal's industrial history.
