Vantage Data Centers is expanding its data center footprint in the UK with a new data center campus in London. The campus, LHR2, will be the company's second in London, based at Park Royal in west London and will see an investment of £250 million ($310.1m).
The campus will feature a single data center offering 20MW of IT capacity across 194,000 square feet (18,000 sqm). Further, the company shared that it has teamed up with a local artist to design part of the facility's facade, drawing inspiration from the local community.

Commenting on the expansion, Antoine Boniface, president of EMEA for Vantage Data Centers, said: "Expanding our presence in London, the largest of the FLAP data center markets and one of the largest global markets, enables Vantage to meet the unprecedented demand for critical IT capacity and helps strengthen the region's digital infrastructure."
Adding: "Vantage's unique ability to rapidly scale to this magnitude continues to set the company apart from the rest of the industry."
The company has shared that the campus will launch in early 2025.
