Valley Oak proposes 90MW data center in California

Valley Oak is pursuing a new data center in Fremont, California, it has been announced, to 'serve as a place for clients to either relocate their data servers or expand their data capacity.' The company submitted an application for a 490,000 square-foot (45,520 sqm) data center on approximately 12.5 acres, located at 37887 Shinn Street in Alameda County.

The company has outlined that the facility, at full build-out, will have 90MW, with 35x 3MW backup generators.

 Timelines regarding the development of the project have not yet been shared.

There are 301 data centers in California.
