National Grid Ventures Invests $1.75bn for Microsoft Texas Data Center
National Grid Ventures has acquired a 35% stake in Joulent for $1.75 billion to support development of Project Kilby, a 2.67GW natural gas facility being developed with Chevron, expected to supply Microsoft’s planned 2GW data center in West Texas.

Kuok Group to Invest €5.3bn in Milan Data Campus
Malaysian conglomerate Kuok Group is considering investing up to €5.3 billion ($6bn) in a 300MW hyperscale data centre campus on the southern outskirts of Milan, a multi-billion-euro investment expected to create around 200 permanent jobs and up to 8,000 construction roles.

Digital Realty Buys Blackstone Stake in Three Virginia Data Centers for $3.5 Billion
Digital Realty is acquiring a stake in three Northern Virginia data centers from Blackstone which covers two sites in Manassas and one at the Digital Dulles campus in Sterling, all 100% leased to hyperscale customers for $3.5 billion, including $1.2 billion in cash and $2.3 billion in Digital Realty shares, with completion expected this week.

300MW Data Center Campus Planned for Kent, UK
UK renewable energy developer Clearstone has proposed an AI data center campus in Kent, planned for a 145-acre site near Dartford, the Ebbsfleet AI Data Centre Campus would comprise up to 180,000 sqm (1.9 million sq ft) of data center space across four buildings, designated as a development of national significance.
