Tencent Cloud Launches Region in Osaka, Japan

Tencent Cloud is launching a new cloud region in the Kansai region of Osaka, which will be the third availability zone in Japan, joining Tencent's two other zones in Tokyo. In addition to the new cloud region, Tencent will open a new office in Osaka to help create more jobs in the region.

Dowson Tong, senior executive vice president and CEO of Tencent's Cloud & Smart Industries Group (CSIG), said: "Tencent Cloud aims to continue to be a technology enabler for Japanese companies to help them achieve their business goals and strengthen their competitiveness through cutting-edge cloud, AI, and media solutions. As we expand our global infrastructure network, we look forward to further strengthening our support to help our customers and partners grow and operate globally."


Hanson Liu, head of Tencent Cloud Japan, added: "We are committed to further expanding our capabilities in Japan and deepening collaboration with business partners who make the most of our innovative cloud, AI, media, and fintech solutions."
