Russia / Россия: Russian telco Tattelcom unveils new data center in Kazan

Russian ISP Tattelcom has launched a new data center facility in Kazan, in central Russia. The telco mentioned that this new 3,000 square meter facility will potentially host 400 racks and offer a 1.8MW capacity. The two phases of construction is scheduled to be completed by 2026.

General director of PJSC Tattelecom Ayrat Nurutdinov said, “On this site, we will build a data center, a transformer substation, and an administrative office center for 200 jobs. The data center will be of the highest level of reliability - according to the tier three standard. The transformer substation has a total capacity of 1.8 MW with a reserve of up to 3.6 MW.”

Rustam Nurgalievich, Rais (Head) of the Republic of Tatarstan added at the launching ceremony, “Today's event marks the next stage in the history of the enterprise. I support this project and appeal to all involved departments with a request to provide assistance. Have a good journey!”
