NORD-6: Rostelecom opens new data center in Moscow, Russia

Rostelecom has announced the opening of its new data center in Moscow, Russia. The latest data center was opened under its Rostelecom-DPC unit. The new NORD-6 facility is in the Rostelecom-DPC campus in Korovinskoe highway 37. It has a capacity of 5MW and two data rooms that will house 207 racks.
The NORD campus already has five data centers with racks totaling 3,764. NORD-6 was built to Tier III standards, and it will offer telecom services, colocation, IaaS, administration, backup, and cybersecurity services. Rostelecom has already opened new data centers in Novosibirsk and St. Petersburg this year.
The telco also revealed its plan to extend the NORD campus in the future. Rostelecom says it is looking to start the first stage of a Tier IV data center soon.
