Nautilus Data Technologies and Philippine-based IT firm DFNN Inc. are forming a partnership to develop a data center in the Philippines. The companies signed an MoU to partner up to develop the facility in the Freeport Area of Bataan. None of the companies shared the data center specifications or when it would be completed.

DFNN’s COO, Ricardo F. Banaag, said: “Connecting the entire technology ecosystem is of great importance in creating value to both business and stakeholders. In this case, providing for a sustainable data center will ensure resiliency in the face of rapid growth and demand.”

DFNN was founded in 1999. It deals in system integration, provides IT solutions, and also provides Electronic Gaming Machines. On the other hand, Nautilus is a US-based company famous for its floating data center.

There are 48 data centers in Philippines.
