Meta Veteran Sham Parmar Joins Anthropic Supply Chain Operations

Meta’s Sham Parmar has joined generative AI company Anthropic.
Parmar previously served as senior manager for supply chain and engineering, overseeing electrical, mechanical, and fiber connectivity systems.

"I'm excited to share that I've joined Anthropic as a supply chain lead, power and cooling infrastructure for data center buildouts," Parmar said. "After eight years at Meta sourcing power, cooling, and connectivity at scale, I'm excited to bring that experience to a mission I deeply believe in."

A number of Meta employees have joined Anthropic amid layoffs at the social media firm. Anthropic is expanding its data center strategy, including a planned $50 billion investment with Fluidstack, alongside backing from Google and cloud partnerships with Microsoft, Amazon Web Services, and Google.Anthropic.width-358.webp

Meta has 166 sites in 22 regions.
