Canada: Legrand acquires Power Bus Way

Legrand has acquired Power Bus Way, a specialist in Cable Bus power busbars, primarily for data centers. The company employs more than 120 people and generates an annual revenue of around €70 million ($73.5m), mainly in the United States and Canada.
Benoît Coquart, CEO of Legrand, said: "Today we are announcing the 8th external growth operation of the year, with a cumulative annualized revenue of nearly €410 million ($430.78m), and Legrand's first acquisition in North America in the data center grey space. These acquisitions are a great illustration of our medium-term growth ambitions, both in essential building infrastructures and in offers related to the energy and digital transition."
Headquartered in Limoges, France, Legrand is a French industrial group. The company currently operates in 90 countries with its offerings including electrical equipment and digital building infrastructure.
