Legrand has acquired New Zealand cable management firm Mechanical Support Systems (MSS) which offers services including cable containment manufacturing, supply, installation, and design, as well as bespoke fabrication. This acquisition merges MSS’ cable management solutions with the acquiring company’s existing power, emergency lighting, structured cabling, and wiring products.

“While we are a global company, we are very local in our approach and committed to investing in our ANZ operations to offer tailored solutions for this market,” said Palash Nandy, CEO at Legrand ANZ. "Our expanded offering in cable management will enable us to offer more comprehensive solutions to growth sectors such as data centers.”

Hayden Froggatt, co-founder of MSS, added: “MSS’ current position in New Zealand stems from our strong people culture. Joining forces with a global leader like Legrand will allow MSS to engage even quicker and support a much wider range of offerings for our combined customer base.”
