Homeshree, an Indian non-banking financial company (NBFC), has purchased a $24.36m stake in Webyne Data Center. India-based Webyne is a cloud hosting and infrastructure provider. The investment is meant to enable Webyne to grow its product and tech portfolio, increase its expenditure on infrastructure, and eventually expand globally. Homeshree looks to be a housing finance company that provides low- to middle-income families with the required housing financing. This investment comes mere weeks after Webyne's $61 million investment in the Indian cloud services market. The founder of the company stated that there is no question that the cloud service market has great potential because it enables organizations to scale, maintain flexibility, and transfer their focus from complex IT infrastructure to business operations. Even the market is expanding rapidly as a result of its numerous advantages. It was worth $551,8 billion in 2021 and is anticipated to surpass $2.5 trillion by 2031.
India's Webyne Data Center is located in Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The company currently has offices in Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore, and Noida, and it hosts its cloud services in colocation facilities and a 2MW server farm in Noida. Webyne has 100,000 square feet (9,290 square meters) of data center space in over 20 data centers across India.
