Green Mountain Secures Neocloud Customer For London Data Center

Green Mountain has secured an unnamed neocloud customer at its LON-East data center campus in Romford, East London. The customer has taken 14MW of capacity at the facility, which is connected to major fiber routes linking the City of London, London Docklands, Slough, and international data center hubs.

Green Mountain acquired the freehold for its Romford campus earlier this year, giving it long-term control and room for further expansion. The site was acquired through its purchase of Infinity SDC in January 2023. The campus has 37MW of total capacity, including the recently delivered 14MW expansion, which supports rack densities above 100kW with liquid cooling. Work on the expansion began in December 2023 and includes six data halls.
