India / Bhārata: DLF to invest in Noida data center and IT park expansion

India's DLF has revealed plans to invest Rs 3,400 crore in its DLF Techpark and data centers in Noida, India. This park, located in Sector 143 in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, spans over 25 acres as over 1.2 million square feet of housing, IT blocks, and data center space have been constructed on it so far. Once fully built, this facility could reach 4 million square feet. 

Karun Varma, senior executive director of north offices business, DLF, said: "We have recently received inquiries for more IT space in the area, and that encourages us to plan for the next phase there. Out of the 1.15 million square feet that have already been constructed (as part of the first phase), one million square feet have already been committed by clients."

Fully based in India, DLF is a real estate investment, development, and management firm that has already developed over 31 million square feet of real estate in the country.
