Digital Realty Opens 27MW Data Center Campus in Amsterdam

Global colocation firm Digital Realty has officially opened its latest data center in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The facility, AMS11, has a capacity of 27MW of IT capacity across 12,000 sqm (129,165 sq ft), increasing the company’s Dutch footprint to approximately 159MW.

The facility is designed to support high-density and AI workloads. It incorporates cooling technologies, including direct liquid cooling alongside traditional air-based systems. DCD has learned that Digital Realty intends to install a living wall at the site, due next year.
