Digital 9 Infrastructure, a UK investment trust, has raised £175 million ($246.7 million). The Company initially offered an offering to raise £100 million through new ordinary shares. However, it was oversubscribed, and it raised a total of £175 million ($246.7 million). The Company says it plans to acquire more digital assets with the funds raised.
Chair of Digital 9 Infrastructure, Jack Waters, said that the Company is happy with how the fundraising went. He said having support from existing and new shareholders show the strength of the opportunity in digital infrastructure.
Finally, Digital 9 Infrastructure says it looks to acquire some data centers in the UK, US, and northern Europe. Not only that, but it also wants to acquire UK terrestrial fiber platforms and also invest in subsea fiber.
