Digital 9 Infrastructure: D9 Poised For Another Acquisition Spree After Raising Another £95m

Digital 9 Infrastructure (D9) has announced that it has successfully raised another £95.2 million ($127.4m). It plans to use the money raised to finance its infrastructure acquisition run. D9 raised the finances through new Ordinary shares. The company has some digital infrastructures it is targeting. Digital 9 has raised £845 million ($1.13 billion) since its IPO last year. The company has so far acquired a data center operation in Iceland, a data center & cable landing station, and a subsea cable and operator.
Chair of Digital 9 Infrastructure, Jack Waters, said the company has been making major steps in ensuring it has a diverse portfolio of digital infrastructure assets while also not forgetting sustainability. Waters noted that D9 is thankful for the continued support from new investors and existing shareholders. Some of the company’s previous acquisitions include a £160m ($215m) purchase of Aqua Comms, a £231 million ($320m) acquisition of Verne Global, a £15m ($19.8m) purchase of a Stellium data center and cable landing station, and a host of others.
