Hyperscale data center builders can use Chindata's full-stack modular products, including integrated power systems and prefabricated buildings. The four products were introduced on August 18 in Yinchuan City, China, at the Data Center New Technology Development Forum of the 2023 China Computing Conference. They are meant to satisfy growing demands from large data center builders in what Chindata refers to as the Artificial Intelligence Generated Content (AIGC) era. Developed with partners.
The modular X-PrePower 3.0 technology unifies power supply and distribution with more straightforward paths and 98.5 percent efficiency. Chindata claims it saves 20% of non-modular systems' floor area and reduces delivery time from two months to one week. The AI-controlled X-Cooling Maglev two-phase cooling system uses magnetic levitation (maglev) for oil-free compressors, evaporative condensation, thin fan walls, and other technology. Chindata claims this supports air cooling for 35kW per rack.
The company claims phase-change heat transfer and cold plates alleviate centralized cold water system issues, boost dependability, and minimize complexity. Its yearly Cooling Load Factor (CLF) is 0.08 in North China and 0.15 in Malaysia. Chindata's large-scale, completely prefabricated data centers minimize cross-border project building timelines by combining domestic factory prefabrication and overseas steel structure construction. A Malaysian modular design and assembly project completed foundation building, rigorous testing, delivery, and installation in eight months.
With a standardized approach, the company's Kunpeng all-in-one IDC operations management platform integrates operations, management, monitoring, and control
