Chinese operator Centrin Data is partnering with SpaceDC to sell two of the former’s data centers. Both companies will work together to sell Centrin’s data centers and services in China. The Singaporean firm will be offering data center space in Centrin’s Wuhan and Kunshan data centers. Both facilities are rated Tier IV. According to reports, the Kunshan data center campus covers close to 3.2 million square feet (300,000 square meters). Furthermore, the Wuhan campus spans 5.38 million square feet (500,000 square meters). The campus’s first phase has 70MW of capacity. It is also capable of reaching 225MW upon full buildout. Centrin was founded in 2005. The CEO of Centrin Data, Yang Yu, said the company’s facilities are in strategic locations, and they are specially designed with rich network connections and high security. Yu also added that Centrin and SpaceDC would have a fruitful partnership as both companies share similar visions.
