AM Group To Establish 1GW Data Center Campus in Northern India

AM Green Group (AMG), which specializes in the ‘green’ production of industrial materials and fuels like ammonia, hydrogen, and methanol, signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Invest UP, the investment agency of the Government of Uttar Pradesh.

The memorandum, which is non-binding, states that AMG will establish an $25 billion AI infrastructure hub in the Greater Noida region. 

AMG will be responsible for providing energy to the facility – the company’s press release states that the facility will leverage “AMG’s leadership in renewable energy.” But it is unclear whether AMG will run the campus itself or find a data center operator
