Orange is one of the world’s leading telecommunications operators with sales of 41 billion euros in 2018 and 148,000 employees worldwide at 30 June 2019, including 89,000 employees in France. The Group has a total customer base of 266 million customers worldwide at 30 June 2018, including 207 million mobile customers and 20 million fixed broadband customers.
The Group is present in 27 countries. Orange is also a leading provider of global IT and telecommunication services to multinational companies, under the brand Orange Business Services. In March 2015, the Group presented its new strategic plan “Essentials2020” which places customer experience at the heart of its strategy with the aim of allowing them to benefit fully from the digital universe and the power of its new generation networks.
In early 2021, Orange Maroc expanded its footprint by acquiring Etix Everywhere Maroc, including its data center facility in Casablanca.
Orange opened a €4 million ($4.7m) data center in Santander, Spain in 2021. Located in the Candina Industrial Park in the northern Cantabria region, the facility spans 1,236 square meters (13,300 sq ft).
In 2025, the French telecommunications group Orange inaugurated a new data center in Casablanca, Morocco. To support its energy needs, the facility features an on-site array of more than 1,000 solar panels.
The data center in Val-de-Reuil, France, spans 16,000 m² with 5,000 m² of computer room space and is built on an 18-hectare site in the commune.
French telco Orange's Amilly Data Center is located in the Centre-Val de Loire region in France.
The second data center building of Orange's Normandy Campus was launched in 2022. The facility spans 16,000 sqm (172,200 sq ft) with 5,000 sqm (53,800 sq ft) of computer rooms.
Orange Business OSL5 Data Center is located in Rasta in Oslo. The facility is the company's second data center in Norway and has been in operation since November 2017.
Orange Business OSL3 Data Center is located in Grorud in Oslo, only 15 minutes from Oslo's city center. The facility is the company's first data center in Oslo and has been operational since 2005.
In 2021, Orange opened a data center in Warsaw, Poland. The European telco's new Warsaw Data Hub facility contains four 400 sq m (4,305 sq ft) data halls that hosts both the telco's network infrastructure and hosting services for customers.
