Applied Partners plans a data center and a heat-exchanger factory on the former Alliance Castings steel foundry on East Broadway Street in Alliance, Ohio.

Applied Partners LLC is a privately held company based in New Jersey. It buys decommissioned industrial properties, clears them and redevelops the land. It has bought plants formerly owned by Dana, Chrysler, Eaton, General Motors, Delphi and Century Aluminum. It does not operate data centers.
In Ohio, its affiliates own the former McDonald Steel plant in McDonald and the former Alliance Castings plant in Alliance. At Alliance, it proposes a data center next to a new manufacturing plant.
Applied Partners History:
- In September 2026, affiliate Alliance Park Development LLC bought the former Alliance Castings plant in Alliance, Ohio, for $4.75 million.
- In July 2024, affiliate AP McDonald LLC bought the former McDonald Steel plant in McDonald, Ohio, for $3.2 million.
