Terawulf has secured an 80-year ground lease for a high-performance computing (HPC) and AI data center campus at the former Cayuga coal-fired power plant in Lansing, New York, a site also known as the "Cayuga data center campus".
TeraWulf plans to bring the first phase of this development online in 2026, using low-cost, predominantly zero-carbon power. The lease also includes purchase and sale options that can be exercised beginning in year 50.
