Sembcorp: Teesside Campus

Site planned for 2028 and has expansions through 2031
Lot Size: 38 acres

The Sembcorp Wilton International Data Centre is a planned high-performance computing campus located on a 38-acre brownfield site at the Wilton International industrial park in Teesside, North East England.

Developed jointly by Sembcorp Energy UK and property firm Digital Reef, the 100% air-cooled facility is specifically engineered to support high-density AI and machine learning workloads distributed across three proposed buildings. Strategically situated near the Greystones Substation, the campus will leverage the industrial park’s extensive private wire electricity grid, utilizing local gas, biomass, and waste-to-energy assets, with the infrastructure runway to scale up significantly over the next decade.

The land parcel was previously held by Peak Rare Earths, an Australian mining firm that was bought out by the Chinese rare earths manufacturer Shenghe Resources in September 2025.
