The Reșița Data Center (RES1) is a 3-hectare greenfield site in Reșița, western Romania, designated for data center development. It is located adjacent to a 650 MVA Transelectrica 400/220/110 kV substation, which was upgraded by Siemens Energy in 2024–2025 and serves as a junction for three 400 kV power corridors.

This infrastructure carries four EU Project of Common Interest (PCI) designations under the Trans-Balkan Electricity Corridor (ENTSO-E TYNDP Project 144). The land has confirmed IS urban zoning for institutional, service, and industrial use, allowing for immediate construction without rezoning as per Certificat de Urbanism Nr. 113/2026. A Strategic Partnership Agreement (Nr. 28099/27.03.2026) is also in place with the Municipality of Reșița.
