Media Stream AI (MSAI) has unveiled a £50m ($67.2m) investment to develop a state-of-the-art AI data centre, robotics lab, and production facility at Anchorage Place in Salford’s Media City. Scheduled to open in June 2026, the new site will be a fully owned and operated facility featuring advanced cooling systems and cutting-edge infrastructure.
The project is expected to create 70 full-time jobs within its first year and contribute £150m ($201.7m) to the local economy over the next five years. This strategic expansion serves as a cornerstone for MSAI’s growth, as the company targets a £2.5 billion ($3.36bn) valuation for its planned IPO in December 2026.
