King George County, Virginia, has approved Oasis Digital Properties' new data center campus. Located on 485 acres near Fredericksburg in Dahlgren, the project is set for the north side of James Madison Parkway. Oasis plans to construct ten data center buildings, totaling 6.8 million square feet (631,740 sqm).
The company estimates the development will generate 1,500 construction jobs and create 50-60 permanent jobs per building once operational. The campus is projected to bring $100 million to $120 million in annual tax revenue to the county.
