Developed by AI hyperscaler Nscale following its March 2026 acquisition of AIPCorp, the site operates as the nation's first state-certified, "behind-the-meter" AI microgrid, utilizing a dedicated pipeline of Marcellus Shale natural gas to power hundreds of localized Caterpillar internal combustion engines.

This entirely self-contained, off-grid architecture bypasses regional grid constraints while completely protecting local ratepayers from rising utility costs.
