Meta’s planned Davenport data center, filed through subsidiary Vemerald LLC, is a two-building campus of about 715,000 square feet on roughly 328–350 acres in north Davenport, Iowa.
The project was approved in 2024 with an $800 million investment target, about 35 jobs, and a 20-year property-tax incentive. Land was acquired in 2024–25 and a late-2025 groundbreaking was once indicated, but the site remains empty farmland with no construction start or public online date as of 2026.
