In July 2025, Logistix-affiliate Logix Realty LLC rescinded a land rezoning proposal for a major data center in Frankfort, Indiana. The proposal, which sought to rezone an 833-acre parcel from agricultural to general business use, was scheduled for review by the Frankfort City Plan Commission on July 23, 2025.
Despite this withdrawal, Logistix president Doug Swain emphasized that the project is not canceled, with the company now pursuing development through Clinton County authorities instead of city officials.
The ambitious 833-acre data center campus is planned to include seven buildings, totaling over 7,000,000 square feet, consuming over 300 megawatts of electricity, and requiring an undetermined amount of water. Once completed, it is expected to create up to 350 permanent jobs and over 1,000 temporary construction jobs, with the potential to house one to four tenants.
