In October 2025, Kinh Bac City Development Holding Corporation (KBC) signed a pivotal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Accelerated Infrastructure Capital (AIC) and VietinBank to develop a massive AI data center campus in Ho Chi Minh City. Known as the SGI-HCM Campus, the project is situated on a 10-hectare site within the Tan Phu Trung Industrial Park in the Cu Chi District. With a total estimated investment of nearly $2 billion, the facility is designed to support the burgeoning demand for high-performance computing, boasting a capacity to operate up to 100,000 GPUs.

To ensure the project meets its ambitious development goals, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee established a dedicated 15-member task force in late December 2025 to fast-track regulatory approvals and technical compliance. The project’s first phase is tentatively scheduled to come online by the end of 2027.
