Google is investing $646.4 million in the construction of a new data center in Skien, Norway. The company acquired some 200 hectares of land in Gromstul area of Skien, around 85 miles southwest of Oslo, around 2019. This is the company’s first data center in Norway.

  • The project is set to go live in 2026.
