Google Advances Plans for its First French Data Center

Google has broken ground on its first data center campus in Norway. The tech giant is investing $646.4 million in the construction of a new data center in Skien, Norway. The company acquired some 200 hectares of land in the Gromstul area of Skien, around 85 miles southwest of Oslo, around 2019. This is the company's first data center in Norway.
