Google has purchased 300 acres of land for a future campus in Eagle Mountain. The tech giant acquired the acreage from a private buyer for an undisclosed sum. The land is located in the south of the city on Pony Express Parkway, across from Facebook’s data center. Negotiations with Google ended in a written promise that the company will spend $1.2 billion in the area in the next 30 years.
