In a landmark move for the Latin American tech sector, Elea Data Centers has secured a 17-year, R$2.3 billion ($431m) contract to develop a mission-critical facility for energy giant Petrobras. Following a competitive public bidding process, this project stands as the largest IT infrastructure initiative ever undertaken by a Latin American corporation.
The high-performance facility will integrate advanced liquid cooling technology to support Petrobras’s mission-critical operations and supercomputing requirements.
