Amazon Web Services (AWS) has filed for another major expansion in Louisa County, Virginia, proposing the "Desper Creek Technology Campus."

This new development will cover approximately 140.2 acres of land and is planned to fall under the county's Technology Overlay District (TOD). Drawings for the campus suggest the construction of eight data centers along with an accompanying substation.

The specific location for the "Desper Creek Technology Campus" is south of Jefferson Highway (Route 33), situated between Mt. Airy Road (to the east) and Shannon Hill Road (to the west). AWS is already developing two other data center campuses within the same Louisa County Technology Overlay District.
