French startup Denv-R has launched its first floating data center in Nantes, on the Loire River. After unveiling the concept in 2022, plans for the facility were announced in April 2023.

The 100 sqm (1,075 sq ft) container, equipped with solar panels and designed to house four racks, is installed on a float developed by Geps Techno, specialists in offshore buoys.
