The Cryptonite site is a planned crypto mining and/or data center development on approximately 64.85 acres near the county-owned Archer Complex, inland of the complex along Interstate 80 in Laramie County, Wyoming, east of Cheyenne. The land was acquired from Laramie County by Cryptonite, LLC (Crypto Knight Hosting), with a recorded covenant limiting the property to crypto mining or data center use. As of the most recent records, the project is at an early stage — land acquired and zoning enabled through a related Archer Complex PUD amendment, but with no specific facility design, power capacity, operator build-out, or construction timeline yet announced.
