Blockchain venture company Blockmate Ventures, through its wholly-owned subsidiary Blockmate Mining, is launching its own cryptomining unit. Blockmate Mining will build its site next to a large power substation in Wyoming. The first phase will begin in the first half of 2026, dedicating a significant amount of power to Bitcoin mining. This will be followed by an expansion to a much greater power allocation, coinciding with an additional $55 million in funding. At full capacity, the site is expected to produce 200 Bitcoins per month.
Blockmate Ventures operates as a Web3 incubator and venture creator, concentrating on developing businesses that leverage blockchain technology and decentralization. The company aims to enhance the utility, accessibility, and sustainability of everyday services through these technologies. It collaborates with prospective founders, providing an ecosystem that includes technology, services, integrations, digital assets, and advisory support. This framework is designed to expedite the incubation and monetization of projects. The leadership team brings experience from founding technology companies spanning various eras, and they identify Web3 technology as a means to foster a more democratized future
