UK renewables developer Apatura is planning a major new data center campus, known as Apatura DC Project 3, on 69 hectares of greenfield land near Coldstream, Scotland, close to the English border.

The development will feature up to 70,000 sqm (753,473 sq ft) of data center buildings, an on-site substation, a 500MW Battery Energy Storage System (BESS), and a roof-mounted solar photovoltaic system. Construction is expected to take approximately three years.
