Location. The campus sits at Linieweg 1 and 3 in Halfweg, in the municipality of Haarlemmermeer, Noord-Holland. It fills the eastern corner of SADC's PolanenPark business park, beside the Rottepolderplein junction of the A5, A9 and A200. Central Amsterdam is about 15 km east. The site belonged to Haarlemmerliede en Spaarnwoude until that municipality merged into Haarlemmermeer in 2019.

Land. CyrusOne bought the 6.3-hectare brownfield plot from Schiphol Area Development Company (SADC) in December 2018. The province approved a partial soil remediation plan for the plot in December 2023.

Design and milestones. CyrusOne planned two buildings with about 29,350 m2 of technical space: a three-storey first building and a two-storey second building to its west. Each floor has its own electrical plant. Cosimco (Willemen Groep) built the first building's shell between December 2018 and autumn 2019. The province granted the environmental permit for both buildings in January 2023 and the second building's building permit in January 2026.

Power. Liander serves the campus. In 2019 Liander laid a dedicated underground medium-voltage cable from its Vijfhuizen substation to the Linieweg site. The buildings take diversely routed, 100%-rated A and B 20 kV incomers. The first building has a yard of about two dozen LV diesel generators with 48-hour fuel autonomy. CyrusOne reports 100% renewable power at the site since 2021. In December 2024, TenneT and Liander warned of overload at the Vijfhuizen high-voltage station from 2026. Haarlemmermeer allocates grid capacity for the expansion on a first-come, first-served basis.

Planning. Haarlemmermeer's 2020 data center policy limits data-center power on PolanenPark and excludes hyperscale data centers. The second building is exempt because CyrusOne's application predated the 2019 preparatory decision.

Ownership and tenants. CyrusOne AMS3 B.V. holds the permits. KKR and Global Infrastructure Partners have owned CyrusOne since March 2022. Cyxtera ran its AMS1 colocation suite in the first building from 2019 until it rejected the lease in its 2023 bankruptcy. CyrusOne has studied supplying waste heat to a Haarlem heat network with the province and Waternet.
