Amazon's Mattameade Tech campus or Orrock Tech Campus would span 1,143 acres across Spotsylvania and Caroline counties in Virginia. The campus is designed to accommodate 11 two-story data center buildings and one office building.
The Mattermeade data center project has been in the works since 2023. In October 2023, the company successfully obtained rezoning approval to convert the land use designation from agricultural to industrial.
