Micro data center company Zella DC has launched Zella Stack, a new range of stackable, self-contained data center modules designed for Edge deployments. Each module measures 1,300 x 700 x 580mm (51.18 x 27.56 x 22.83in). Zella DC said the rugged, scalable modules combine air and liquid cooling in a modular design that can be deployed within days.

Each Zella Stack starts with a wheeled base block containing the infrastructure needed to operate the system. IT blocks are then stacked on top to provide rack space for computing equipment. The modules are available in 3U, 6U, and 12U configurations, supporting densities from 3kW to 15kW. Zella DC also offers cooling options of up to 124kW.

The largest model, Zella Stack 48, weighs 185kg (408lbs) and features three IT blocks stacked above a base block. It stands 2.48m (8.1ft) tall and operates at 50dB. Formerly known as Zellabox, Zella DC is based in Perth, Western Australia, and offers several micro data center products, including self-contained, single-rack pods for indoor and outdoor deployments.zella_stack_II.width-358.png
