Mumbai: Web Werks launches in Navi Mumbai, India

Web Werks has announced that it is launching a new data center in Mumbai, India. Named the Mumbai-2 data center, the facility will provide 10 MW of capacity and span 120,000 sq ft (11,150 sqm).
According to the company, the facility, first announced back in March 2021, will launch on January 31st and is designed to 'Tier III standard. Further to this, the facility was reportedly built in partnership with Iron Mountain Data Center, as per the two companies' joint venture, which stipulates that $150 million will be invested over the next two years.
In a LinkedIn post, Web Werks stated: "Complementing our existing Mumbai-1 DC, our Mumbai-2 DC will offer enterprise customers the densest interconnection ecosystem in APAC with 200+ ISPs, all major carriers, internet exchanges, cloud service providers, and content delivery networks."
