US data center operator Vxchnge has quietly ceased operations after selling off a number of sites over the last few years to both Cologix and Element Critical. The news was first confirmed by DCD, who outlined that although there was still one facility in Durham, North Carolina that wasn’t part of the portfolio sold off to H5, the 14,000 sq ft single-story facility at 4518 S, has also now left the ownership of the company.

H5 had taken on seven Vxchnge data centers across the US this year, including in Nashville, Tennessee; Philadelphia and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; Portland, Oregon; Saint-Paul, Minnesota; Secaucus, New Jersey; and St. Louis, Missouri, togethering totaling more than 250,000 sq ft (23,200 sqm). Prior to this, it had also parted ways with its Austin data center and Santa Clara facility.
