United States: USCG awards data center support services contract to Credence Management Solutions

Credence Management Solutions, a government-focused IT services company will be awarded a six-months data center support services contract by the US Coast Guard (USCG). A notice posted by the USCG mentioned that it would reduce competition to awards a sole task order for a part of its existing Data Center Support Services to its current contractor. 

The notice states, "Securing a six-month contract will ensure the continuity of vital DCSS, crucial for the completion of all security documentation necessary for the onboarding of US Coast Guard C5ISC civilian and military personnel. This strategy will effectively mitigate the risk of any disruption in these mission critical services, which could have significant implications for national security."

The data center is currently responsible for supporting the IT systems used to process search and rescue operations and the USCG plans to move most workloads to another infrastructure management services contract.
